The internship starts from February and is for a period of 5-6 months.
About the role
The Global Sales Strategy & Category Development team plays a crucial role in establishing win-win category partnerships with strategic retailers, by closely collaborating with global and local sales teams. The team represents the customer and shopper interest throughout the entire innovation process: from early feeding retailer benefits and category growth elements into the project, to the excellent execution towards the customer and shopper.
The team defines the in-store strategy for the category and identifies the key business drivers from perfect shopper understanding. They translate insights into action, by defining execution standards and developing playbooks to guide countries. It’s about defining Go-to-Market strategy for key innovations, defining the picture of success and translating it into sales fundamentals. The team works closely with countries to track progress and overcome potential barriers. They build external selling stories and create the customer engagement package, as well as create global shopper marketing guidelines and assets for transcreation in countries.
The team operates as key business partner to global sales & marketing teams, as well as other functions at the global headquarters, with stakeholders across all levels of the organization, up to the Executive Committee.
